Ingredients*

  • 2 ½ cups plain flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup water (or as needed)
  • ½ cup cooked, cooled mashed pumpkin (Kent or Jap varieties are best)
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (no added salt, sugar or xylitol)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • TidBits Yoghurt Training Treats (available at Pets Domain)

*Not available at Pets Domain stores.
To avoid tummy upsets, only feed one per day.

Method

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C
Step 2: Line muffin tray with muffin wraps
Step 3: Combine all ingredients, except TidBits Yoghurt Training Treats in a large bowl

Step 4: Mix with a wooden spoon until combined. Add water as needed to reach dough-like consistency.

Water content varies depending on the pumpkin you use.

Step 5: Spoon mixture evenly into lined muffin trays

Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes

Step 7: Check to see if cooked by poking the centre with a skewer. If the skewer comes out clean, the puddings are ready

Step 8: Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes in the tray

Step 9: Remove puddings from the muffin tray and remove the muffin wrap. Cool completely on a wired rack

Step 10: Melt TidBits Yoghurt Training Treats in a microwave-safe bowl in bursts of 10 seconds until melted

Step 11: Drizzle the melted yoghurt on puddings to resemble custard on a Christmas pudding

Step 12: Feed one to your dog!
