Peckish Poultry Grower is a high protein (16%) and energy ration containing essential vitamins and minerals to promote optimum growth and health as the bird develops. This product is the ideal feed for the growth stage between chicks and laying hens. We recommend moving to Peckish Performance Layer Mix at around 20 weeks of age.   Feeding Instructions: To be fed ad-lib from 8-10 weeks of age onward until 10-14 days prior to commencement of lay. Coming in a convenient, ready to use spray bottle for easy application directly onto your bird as well as cage surfaces, nesting boxes and perches.   Dosage and Administration: Before applying remove all food and water from the cage. Hold spray about 40cm from bird and spray directly onto it. Avoid spraying in eyes. Also spray cage, perches and nest box thoroughly to avoid reinfestation as mites will inhabit and lay their eggs in secluded places. Give your feathered friends a balanced diet and a taste that they will love.   Feeding Instructions: Ideal to use from day one. When hand-rearing, feed moist by mixing with water. The frequency of feeding and the blend’s consistency will vary according to species and age. Discard of any unused portions after feeding. Begin transitioning to the appropriate Peckish Adult Softbill Blend or Peckish Hookbill Pellets once your bird is fully fledged. Start their transition to pellets by feeding them a 50:50 ratio of this blend and pellets. This may require initially crumbling the pellets.
