API API - Algaefix for Ponds (240ml)
API POND ALGAEFIX algae control effectively controls green water algae blooms, string or hair algae (Cladophora), and blanketweed (Oedogonium) in ponds containing live plants and fish. API POND ALGAEFIX algae control is fast-acting, controls algae growth, controls the formation of new algae, and helps resolve algae problems. Registered with the EPA, API POND ALGAEFIX algae control controls many types of algae in water gardens, ponds, and ornamental fountains containing live plants and fish. Instructions: To ensure accurate dosing, determine pond volume before use. Do not overdose. Add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) for each 50 gallons or 0.25 cup for each 600 gallons of pond or fountain water. Thoroughly mix into pond water by adding near the pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration device. It can be mixed in a bucket and dispersed evenly around the pond. Repeat dose every 3 days until algae is controlled. Once algae growth is under control, add one dose per week. Weekly doses will control algae growth and reduce pond maintenance. CAUTION: DO NOT use with freshwater crustaceans including shrimp, crabs, and lobsters. FAQs: Should API POND ALGAEFIX™ algae control and ECOFIX™ bacterial cleaner be used at the same time, or should the sludge remover be added after all the API ALGAEFIX algae control are completed? It is best to use API ALGAEFIX algae solution on its own until algae is under control. How much API POND ALGAEFIX™ algae control is needed per gallon? API API - pH Proper 7.5 Powder Jar (260g)
API pH Proper 7.5 Powder Jar automatically sets and stabilizes the pH level in freshwater aquariums to 7.5 which is perfect for Goldfish, Guppies, Barbs, Swordtails, Platies and Mollies. It also removes toxic compounds from tap water such as chlorine, neutralises chloramines, detoxifies heavy metals, and adds electrolytes, making tap water safe for fish. Use this aquarium treatment when setting up a new aquarium, adjusting pH, or changing water. pH in an aquarium can fluctuate due to fish waste, uneaten food and addition of tap water. It is recommended to test water for pH weekly. pH is the measure of acidity of water, on a scale ranging from 0 to 14. A pH of 0 is the most acidic, while a pH of 14 is the most alkaline. Water with a pH of 7.0 is considered ""neutral"". Different geographies have different tap water conditions with different pH levels, while fish require a specific pH level to thrive. API Aquarium Treatment Supplies are designed to work in conjunction with each other to provide best results to control algae, promote healthy bacterial growth and help control and cure fish diseases and conditions such as ich and fin rot. They work to provide a safe, hospitable environment for fish such as tropical community fish, cichlids, goldfish and more. With API, you can spend more time admiring your fish, and less time scrubbing your tank. Make sure to use all products as directed in order to ensure the best results.
